Well, you are not quite so little anymore! You are currently 17 lbs 3 oz and you are 27 3/4 inches long!
Other fun 6 month feats and facts:
- You are still sleeping straight through the night 10-12 hours at a time. Mommy and Daddy love you even more for that !
- You love to sit in your high chair and eat! So far, we have not found any fruits or veggies you do not like...peaches are a new favorite and you really enjoy peas and sweet potatoes too! Nana introduced you to little crunchie snacks and we enjoy watching you try to grab your snacks of your tray. Most miss your mouth but Kix and Kasey love them too!
- Speaking of dogs, you love yours! You smile when they enter the room and want them them to come over to you so you can touch them. Won't be long now until you are chasing them!
- AS for moving, you are a roller, both ways! You are starting to scoot forward a bit when you play, not just in your crib! Today, you were putting your knees under you and trying to move and you almost have it! Of course, as soon as I turned the video camera on, you stopped and stared at me :)
- You grew VERY FAST out of your 6 month clothe and have been wearing 9 month sizes since the middle of June. Which is a shame because we bout all your summer clothes in 6 months....
- And as for that pesky nap schedule. You are FINALLY giving into Mommy and napping in your crib - Most of the time. And you still sleep on that tummy :)
- AS of your 6 month check up, and the whole month prior, you are teething and NOT happy about it. Everyone is waiting for those teeth to pop through so you are happier!
- You saw your first fireworks on the 4th of July as you slept through the beginning and woke up in the middle. You layed on my lap in sleepy daze but there were no tears!
- You are not a big fan of sitting up yet. When we get you to sit, you would rather just fall over then stop yourself :) But you still love to stand with assistance and spend time on your tummy playing!
You are still Mommy's sweet, adorable red headed love!!! Happy half a year birthday little one! WE love you!
