the start of summer fun...

Summer weather has finally arrived and we are making the most of it! Our deck is finally finished and we are enjoying hanging out out there while Easton plays in his sandbox or explores the yard.

Dandelion picker or making wishes? Either way, it's adorable!

Easton got a new sandbox and he has been in it EVERY DAY since!

Sunday evening lake time with the family, doggies too!

This is his throwing expression...we love it!

Side story - yesterday we got Easton's turtle pool from last year. We cleaned it, filled it and let the sun warm the water. One certain redhead wanted nothing to with it. The same redhead who LOVED the pool last year. The three month training until we got to the beach begins now....
We got this bucket here to be used as a simple DIY water table. Since the table wasn't made yet, i figured he could just play with his toys in the tub. He LOVED it! Soaked himself (and Kix) pretty good, too!

Hot baby with a stuffy nose and refusing to nap.....

And we have a walker!

After 16 long months, Mr. Easton has decided to walk! He still crawls quite a bit but he has finally just given in and walks around! He has even started standing up from the sitting position, not just crawling over to furniture to get up. Everyone told me to be careful  what I wished for, in hoping/praying he would walk soon. But, I LOVE it! He looks like such a bog boy and he is proud of himself! And with walking, comes a terrible toddler klutz! This child has more bruises and goose eggs ( usually on his face, of course) than anyone I have ever met. I like to think that he has a little me in him after all! :)

Before bed fun with his two best friends, Kix and Kasey

In starting a photo a day project on Instagram, i have found myself getting so many creative pictures of Easton I never would have thought of without a daily prompt. I treasure them! And the amazing community of friends I have made!

16 months old! Side note, He found these glow sticks in a drawer in our spare room that hold extra goody bag treats that were handed out for various holidays. He carried them everywhere!

The sun is out again, yay!!

Self timer photos with Mommy! Playing peek a boo and picking flowers!
