January 2016

A new year and for our family, hopefully a new beginning from a month long sickness that plagued our house!

The month of January -

  • Drew turned 8 months old! (He will be 9 months this weekend, oops!) He loves to stand up, EAT (especially cut up fruits and veggies), not drink his bottles, crawl super fast (especially if he is chasing Easton), bear crawl, smile, crawl in the ball pit, knock over towers of blocks and has finally began sleeping all night again ( I hope I did not jinx it!). Our big buy is slowly moving himself into 18 month sized clothes!
  • Easton has been keeping busy ( and keeping me busy), too. We recently re decorated and rearranged his bedroom to give it more of a big kid feel. He has his very own teepee now, which he loves. He recently began loving and playing a lot of games. Some favorites are Memory, Candy Land, Mickey Slides, and Ker PLunk. He has even started Memory with me with the cards facing down, the right way lol. He even beat he the other day! ( I wish i could say I let him win but I did not). He still loves playing outside and has gotten into playing basketball with his new hoop, indoors for now (happy birthday E!)
  • Easton turned 3! He had his first birthday party, themed Mickey Mouse of course! Unfortunately, he was sick for his birthday but he is really enjoying his new presents now!

I cant believe my first little baby is 3!

Love this one!

Every January I have one of these posts - a random super warm day! Yesterday, we headed off to the playground. Easton and Drew had a blast. Easton wanted to play " hide and seek" which was something my brother and I used to play all the time at big playgrounds. Made me smile! And Drew was happy to be able to crawl around and climb up on stuff.

Look at this little cutie!

Big brother teaching little brother to pick up mulch, uh oh!

Could these two be any cuter?!?!

He went over this little bridge like 20 times!

Waiting to catch his brother at the bottom

Drew loved going down the slide holding my hands- he will be a realer mover this summer!

This one.

Christmas

The Christmas post is a little late in coming because...everyone was sick. The kiddos, especially Easton had it for almost a month. Christmas wasn't the best holiday for us this year but we were just grateful to be able to give the boys everything they dreamed of for Christmas- and then some!

(Drew, not feeling well, had already gone back to bed at this point. It was 7:30 AM)

Brotherly love!

His smile melts me. Still.
